TFCC's System Was Tested - and Proven - Under Fire

In the fall of 2007, San Diego County used TFCC's AlertSanDiego emergency notification system to reach residents threatened by the fast-moving wildfires.
Just three days before the fires hit, the county completed training on the system. On very short notice, they had to use it to evacuate over a half million people.
TFCC enabled San Diego County to contact each of the affected homes in advance of the approaching fires, tell people when to evacuate, and where to go. County OES Director Ron Lane said that having that ability was absolutely critical to the county's successful wildfire response.
